For Windows XP Only :

  • Get a Bootable Windows XP Installation CD/DVD and Insert it into your CD/DVD Drive.
  • Press Any when the message appears to boot from Installation Disk
  • When your reach the Windows Setup Screen Press R key to Go to Recovery Console
  • Now you will asked to login into your Windows Installation Partition i.e C: OR D: Drive depending upon your installation location if it is C: Drive then press number ‘1’ and hit Enter
  • You will be now asked to enter your admin password that is usually blank unless you have created it manually so no need to fill and Press Enter
Windows
  • Now Type the Following Commands One by One and Press Y after entering each command

fixboot

  • After Typing the above commands successful Type Exit and Press Enter
  • Restart Your Computer and You no longer face the same error anymore.
  • That’s all and You are all done.

For Windows 7/8/Vista :

  • Get a Bootable Windows Installation CD/DVD as per your Windows Version and Insert it into your CD/DVD Drive.
  • Press Any when the message appears to boot from Installation Disk
  • When your reach the Windows Setup Screen there you will see System Recovery Option so select it and after that Select Startup Repair and wait till it finishes
  • If the Startup Repair Goes successfully then you will not longer face the same error again and if it doesn’t go successful or you face the same error again don’t worry proceed with the following steps.
