DrumBurst is an 8 parts drum machine with 64 waves at each slot making 512 waves in total: not too much for a quick selection but a good variety to work with. The inbuilt sequencer features 24 Main Pattern each based on the combination of a dedicated wave, Mute status and 1 out of 6 Step Pattern variations per part. This provides a lot of variation and less of programming effort as pattern can be re-used with a different instrument.

For Windows users, alll the necessary files and libraries are included in the setup, the orDrumbox was tested with from Windows XP to WIN 10. Therefore, if java (jre > 1.6) is already installed on your computer, instead of the setup, you can download the ordrumbox-V0.9.37.openjdk8.jar or ordrumbox-V0.9.37.jar and launch with the command line 'java -jar ordrumbox-0.9.37.jar' or try to double-click on the jar file, in this case, there is no needed to install/uninstall the software.
For OSX and Linux users, you need at least a JRE 1.6 from Oracle (but further version of jdk/jre will work fine). See java. If java is not yet installed on your computer, Install latest version of java. Be sure your Java works on your system and uninstall any previous Java version. To mnimise compatibilites issues, the openjdk and openjdk version of the orDrumbox is recommended.
For OSX, the orDrumbox-06.02 was tested on Mac OS X 10.3, other versions should work just upgrade java if needed.
